Our vets know horses.  In addition to their specialized training in equine health and surgery, the doctors at Acadiana Equine Clinic have years of experience working within the horse racing and breeding industries and are actively involved in state and national veterinary organizations

Dr. Eddie Cramer

A 2002 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Cramer has lived his entire life in Southern Louisiana, growing up in Crowley.  "I have been in an exclusive equine veterinary practice since the time of my graduation with a particular focus on equine reproduction," Dr. Cramer said. "I began maintaining a herd of recipient mares for the purpose of embryo transfer five years ago."

"While my focus over the past few years has been on the mare side of the equation, we have expanded to provide additional stallion services," Dr. Cramer said. "We are looking to growing our stallion roster and services.”

Dr. James "Sonny" Corley
Dr. Corley is a 1980 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and has nearly 30 years of experience providing medical care to performance horses. His specialties include equine reproduction, orthopedics and lameness. Dr. Corley was president of the AAVSB for two years, a member of the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medicine for five years and chairman for one year.
